Happy 2026 Drammers! Now that the new year is upon us, it’s time for new resolutions, and of course, new whisky events! On January 17th, Drammers United Taipei is pleased to bring to you Keep Calm and Berry On – a whisky tasting event sponsored by one of the industry’s most esteemed independent bottlers: Berry Bros. & Rudd!

Founded in 1698, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s oldest wine and spirits merchant. Family-owned and run, the company still trades from No.3 St James’s Street, with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. This time, they’ve prepared four outstanding whiskies from their lineup for our tasting event, including:

• 2010 Small Batch Benrinnes 13y
• 2010 Mastercraft Teaninich 15Y
• 2013 Mastercraft Craigellachie 12Y
• 2010 Mastercraft Benriach 14Y

In addition to these, Drammers at the event will also be provided a special Mystery Dram from Taipei Chapter Keeper Lester!

Our venue for this event is going to be The 18 Whisky & Cigar Lounge. Known for its extensive drink menu and cigar,  The 18 is quickly becoming the area’s number one hotspot for those looking for a more refined and upscale evening location. Best of all, it’s run by our expert YouTuber Gwhisky Geoff! The cover charge for the Berry Bros. & Rudd tasting event will be $500 NTD per person, and this will also include a free cocktail of your choice made by Gwhisky himself!

After the official tasting (around 4:00), we will also do a Drammers Time bring-your-own-bottle event. To participate in this bottle share, simply bring a whisky with a minimum cost of $2,000 NTD to share with your fellow Drammers. As always, you can bring bottles that are already open, but please do make sure there is at least half the bottle left so that everyone can have a chance to try it.

This event is organized by the Taipei Chapter of Drammers United – an international whisky group that features chapters in multiple cities across the globe. We welcome whisky fans of all experience levels to come by, try some awesome whiskies, and discuss this hobby with other Drammers!

We have room for 15 Drammers at this event. To RSVP, simply get in touch with Lester via Whatsapp or LINE, where you will receive bank details to transfer your funds. The first 15 people to successfully pay for their seat will have their place reserved for this exclusive event!

活動地點將選在 The 18 Whisky & Cigar Lounge。這裡以豐富的酒單和雪茄聞名，正快速成為想要享受精緻、高級夜晚的熱門去處。最棒的是，這裡由我們的專家 YouTuber Gwhisky Geoff 經營！Berry Bros. & Rudd 品飲活動的費用為每人 500 元新台幣，費用中還包含由 Gwhisky 親手調製的一杯免費雞尾酒！

在正式品飲結束（約下午 4 點）後，我們還會舉行 Drammers Time 自帶酒款分享會。想參加分享會的朋友，只需帶一瓶價值至少 2,000 元新台幣 的威士忌，與其他 Drammers 一同分享。像往常一樣，已開封的酒款也可以帶來，但請確保至少剩下半瓶，讓大家都有機會品嚐。

這場活動由 Drammers United 台北分會主辦 —— 一個國際威士忌社群，在全球多個城市都有分會。我們歡迎各種經驗程度的威士忌愛好者來參加，品嚐美酒、交流心得，和其他 Drammers 一起享受這個嗜好！
